Josh's favorite pro.
football team was the
Indianapolis Colts.
Superbowl XLI Champions!

Josh was buried in this
Peyton Manning football jersey.
Born to a very athletic family
of coaches; Josh enjoyed & excelled
in many sports.
He also was an avid Notre Dame
fan & in baseball
he loved the Atlanta Braves.
Josh also loved animals, especially:
kittens & hamsters & dogs "oh my"

Bless the small creatures and the children, for they teach us the pureness of unconditional love and devotion, and are the
ultimate gifts from God.
In loving memory of my son, Joshua Lee Wenger, and our love of "warm fluffy things". Josh was killed instantly as the result of an automobile accident. He is survived by three cats, Duke, a.k.a. Blue, whom he is pictured with, two kittens, Max and Prissy, two male hamsters, and very, very many humans that will always
hold him dearly!!!

Josh's favorite pastimes were being on
the computer and sleeping.
Josh was never a morning person, and suffered
from insomnia and anxiety attacks. You could say that Josh was always "fashionably late" so school never quite fit into his agenda, although, he went on to eventually get his GED, and take a semester at HACC. Josh struggled a couple of years in his teens to find himself. He withdrew into the computer world and became a legend in the "Abondoned Realms" game website
(a.k.a. code 64).

"I came back to AR Forum because I was bored and wanted to see what was going on in AR. I came across the news that Code (Josh) passed away. I'm been staring at the screen for almost half an hour in disbelief. Code, along with Ramod and Kalist were my first friends on AR and probably were better friends than most of my friends in real life. I know this is an old topc but I just wanted to say my prayers to Josh and Josh's family. You will always be missed by everyone that played or knew about AR. Davairus, I know you and I were never on good terms but if there were a ceremony that is equivalent of retiring a jersey in sports for AR,
Code would certainly be deserving."

"Code was the guy that helped put me there.
I remember him getting pissed when he couldn't just lay
wasteto me anymore. He and I had a lot of characters
who ran together and eventually we exchanged phone numbers
and would call each other when we were wierd places
(not on AR) like the circus or the zoo or at a really crazy
party. He was great fun. The other thing we shared was
a love of fast toys, whether bikes or cars.
I thought of Code today when I was riding.
A friend and I raced off a stoplight.
He saw a cop in the oncoming lane and hit his brakes.
We aren't quite sure what happened next
but one moment he was next to me and the next I saw
him flipping sideways down the pavement behind his
bike at 60mph through a cloud of dust and sand.
I raced ahead to the nearest turn around
with thoughts of all my friends who died
in bike and car accidents. They started to add up
and Code's name was among them.
My friend was alright."

Josh worked at Sunnyside Restaurant
(with me, mom) at 16.
He was a good worker, but very quiet.
Josh left Sunnyside and then helped his Dad
with his car business for years.
Josh then worked with me again at Rillo's
Restaurant in 2003/4. He rarely talk to anyone
at work for like 3 weeks then, painfully shy
in his youth, Josh came out of his shell.

Josh then left Rillo's to work at Applebees
with his girlfriend, Amanda Berrier. Finally, he
left there to work at Carlisle Chrysler Jeep.
Josh made many friends along the way.

LOVE NEVER DIES !
Our hearts were broken,
the story is told.
Without the sunshine
the world is so cold.
We lost more than a son,
and a friend, and a brother,
more than a grandson,
a companion and lover.
A piece of us all
died in that car with you.
We still can't believe it;
how can it be true?
Even when the sun shines
rain pours in our hearts.
What purpose brings the end
so close to the start?
The lessons you've taught us
through death were uncovered,
and we hold you dearer now
in ourselves and each other.
The good things in you
through us must live on.
We just can't believe that you're gone.

Josh's sunset came tragically on
September 25th 2005
@ 1:15 A.M. on Interstate 81.
Josh was ejected from his vehicle because
he wasn't wearing his seatbelt.
They say that Josh was killed instantly.
Thank God for that.
And, I thank God for giving
him to us for 22 years.
Photographs, memories & undying love will always remain!
